Central Brain Identifier is designed to provide detailed identification and obtaining the most complete information about all AMD processors. It recognizes more than 50 various models of the AMD processors. It shows not only the general information about the processor, but also allows to determine its important technical features, such as processor core name, core revision, a nominal processor frequency, the date of announce, an OPN number, the components of the PowerNow! Technology and also independently computes an XP-Rating for processors having a Model Number. The program is capable to detect the core voltage of mobile AMD processors and the newest AMD Athlon 64 processor. Advanced recognition methods can accurately determine mobile, desktop and server variants of the AMD processors. The power diagnostic capabilities provide the most complete information about the processor cache. The program incorporates tweak features such as processor name modification, L1 Cache ECC control and Clock Control Register correction and DRAM timing control. Central Brain Identifier is aggressively aimed to compete with well-known processor diagnostic tools.
This version is the most powerful, because it uses the newest Hi-Tech system driver and has important advances in Athlon64 processor identification.

What’s New in Release 3:
The latest version includes a lot of optimizations for the proper identification of the AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor. Now CBId reports technical information in accordance with an official technical specification on Athlon 64 X2. Besides, CBId is capable to fully recognize the AMD Sempron 2500 Family 15 processor. Eliminated error in previous build 0424 as to P-Rating calculation for the AMD64 processors.

The time has come to announce the third long-awaited release of Central Brain Identifier 7.40 tool, the leading software providing an incredibly powerful identification of any AMD processor and the most complete technical details about it. The newest version has featured with two new tabs. The first tab shows the most important instructions supported by the processor and slightly copies the Processor tab. The second one is absolutely new and organized to provide specific information about mobile features of any K7 and AMD64 processor, such as voltage stabilization time, PLL lock time, a type of voltage regulator, etc. Now, as mentioned before, the Brain can scan implemented in the BIOS performance state tables and extracts the data about all possible 鈥渕ultiplier-voltage鈥?(FID/VID) combinations of the processor. This may help to analyze the mobile capabilities of the desktop or mobile processor and its hidden potential. I know only one tool that can do the same, it鈥檚 an AMD PSCheck, but unfortunately it has an NDA status. Now CBId uncovers what has been unavailable for a long time for public use. Besides, there are following additions in CBId Release 3: added complete identification of exotic models of Athlon XP 2900 , Athlon 64 3300 with 256KB L2 cache size, Sempron 2600 /2800 (Socket 754) and Opteron HE 248 with revision E.
