Update for Internet Explorer 6 SP1 - Internet Explorer Does Not Correctly Decompress Data with GZIP Data Compression Method (837251)
When you use Microsoft Internet Explorer to download or to open data that is compressed with the GZIP compression method, you may receive an error message.
Media Player Classic is similar to Windows Media Player 6.4 but with features pertained to minimalist advanced users. It also supports DirectX 9 and VFW drivers for capture. It supports viewing through ActiveX controls of Real and QuickTime files.Changes:
- Integrated ac3 decoder based on liba52, mainly for dvds with different audio compression types, now it is possible to play lpcm/mpeg/ac3 audio tracks with the same filter (dts will be sent to spdif). To still use ac3filter.ax or any other external decoder you must uncheck the internal at options/filters.
- Web interface: new page to control playback, gzip compression, debug info disabled by default.
- Mpeg decoder: added the bob deinterlacing method.
